Maragang Hill is situated at the base of Mount Kinabalu, approximately 15 minutes from Kinabalu Park. It is a new leisure venture for hikers.
At an elevation of 2,232 metres above sea level, this four-kilometer trek rewards hikers with a magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu at the summit of Maragang hill.

Depart for Mesilou and meet up with your guide for safety briefing and start the 2 km hike up the dense vegetation. The trail is well maintain and with some steep climb, where you would need to grab on the safety rope made available. As you get to higher elevation the trail path lays a beautiful ‘bed of mosses’ surrounding it, feeling so soft and spongy. As you get to the summit of Maragang, hopefully in time for the sunrise get ready your camera for a beautiful sunrise shots from this peak. Have your pack breakfast while enjoying the breathtaking view and ready to track back down.
Brunch at local restaurant before departing back to Kota Kinabalu city.
