They managed to squeeze us in last minute for the Mount Kinabalu climb and took care of everything. The communication over WhatsApp was spot on — fast, clear, and super helpful. They coordinated pick-ups and drop-offs perfectly, even down to getting us from the ferry when we came in from Gaya Island. And the actual climb was unforgettable. This was a great company to book with to go see the turtle park (Selingan Island) and the Orangutans/Sun bears in Sepilok - a 2 day, 1 night tour. The whole process was easy in terms of communciation/payment and the guides were so knowledgeable and personable that we enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. My favourite was watching the turtles lay eggs and releasing the newly hatched ones - an unforgettable experience. As expected, the accomodation was simple on the island and the food was amazing. He was super patient and nice. The food we were given the whole two days was fantastic and the accomadtion at Laban Rata was really comfortable and full of friendly people and staff. The climb was hard but we felt safe because our guide stayed with us and was patient. At the end we were taken for a lovely dinner at a hotel before being driven back to our hotel. Excellent Service by Remarkable Borneo Travel We booked a 6-person tour with Remarkable Borneo Travel and were truly impressed by their excellent service despite the many unexpected challenges we encountered. Unfortunately, two members had to cancel at the last minute due to medical issues and changes in their plans. The agent was extremely helpful and efficient in processing all the necessary documents to ensure a smooth refund for them. On the day of the trip, another member was a no-show. Once again, the agent went above and beyond to make necessary arrangements and communicated closely with us to ensure the trip went smoothly without disruption. Additionally, when there was an error with the name printed on the certificate provided by the service provider, Remarkable Borneo Travel promptly contacted the provider, arranged for the correction, and had the corrected certificate sent to me without any hassle. The price was a bit steep but I'm satisfied with their service. I was put in a group of four and was provided with an excellent guide, Bapak Japarine.
