Minimum 4 pax · Half Day Tour · Kota Kinabalu
Spend a half-day on our Kota Kinabalu City Tour, visiting historical landmarks and interesting views in Sabah’s capital city. Simply roll your eyes at Sabah’s Floating Mosque, one of the most astounding architectural marvels in the state.
Even at night, the city glows as brightly as the day before as you wander around the streetscapes. Witness the city’s cultural variety – connect with Malaysia’s closest Southeast Asian neighbours at the Filipino Market, where you can purchase local handicrafts, woodwork, cultured pearls, and clothes.
Continue your journey to the Signal Hill Observatory platform for an incredible sight of the city. From here, you’ll be able to see the sunset. Additionally, while feasting on seafood, you’ll experience a traditional dance performance.
Meet at a hotel in the Kota Kinabalu (KK) city area for the Kota Kinabalu City Night Tour. The tour begins with a scenic bird’s eye view of KK city from Signal Hill, which is also the best place to see the golden sunset (if weather permits).
Visit the KK Esplanade, which overlooks the South China Sea and is a popular hangout for locals in the evening. Drive by the city’s various night markets from the esplanade. Proceed to Segama Fruit & Food Stalls to find stalls selling fresh local fruits such as non-seasonal: bananas, pineapple, durian (King of fruits), mangosteen (Queen of fruits), langsat, rambutan, and so on. Continue to Kampung Air, another typical Asian colourful night market. The Kampung Air Night Market sells a variety of local and non-local items, clothing, and handicrafts.
Finally, travel to Kg. Nelayan for a sumptuous seafood dinner and a performance of Sabah’s cultural dances by the indigenous tribal people. After dinner, return to your hotel in the Kota Kinabalu city area.
